Mandatory Support on LifeSize Products

Effective from February, LifeSize require all new sales to include Assurance Services

 

In response to customer request and feedback, LifeSize is consolidating and simplifying their Maintenance Services options - this will potentially increase your revenue, decrease the complexity of the service offerings to your end-users and simplify your ordering.


Effective February 2010,

  • All Lifesize Customers will be required to include at least 1 year of Assurance Services upon hardware purchase.
  • The Mandatory Assurances Maintenance Service will include:
    • 1 years Software\Hardware Maintenance
    • Advanced Replacement
    • 1 years Help Desk Service/Support
    • Greatly simplified ordering
  • Existing quotations for services pricing and warranty structure will be honoured throughout February 2010 and any previously purchased service and/or warranty will remain unaffected.

This change in how Lifesize services are provided will make life simpler and easier for our reseller partners by reducing the cost for a 1 year maintenance contract and (by including Hardware/Software Support, Advanced Replacement and Help Desk support facilities) reducing ordering complexity.
